San Jose

Day 48

Being the first full day in a house with dedicated lines of communication, Liv and I spent the entire day taking care of business. I got caught up with the recent happenings in Falmouth and Camden, nothing too exciting, except it seems the weather in Maine's been horrible all summer. The Kids both gave their notices and are counting down to the fly out to Portland, Oregon at the end of the month. Liv's slowly been making headway on her endless punch list and having the Internet for the next week at Kendrick's should help her out a fair bit.

Before Kenrick headed to class, Liv and I dusted off his running legs and took him out for 30 minutes. Liv's rest from running for the past month while at altitude apparently didn't effect her and she hammered along, adding more mileage after Kendrick and I stopped. I would have liked to have felt better on my first run at sea level in a month, but maybe tomorrow will be different.

Dinner was suppose to be pork tenderloin, but the Safeway's selection let us down and we had to settle for shrimp and chicken kabobs on the pool side grill at Kendrick's apartment. Liv did an excellent job with dinner - a very good first meal with actual cooking supplies.
